What if Rahu aspects his dispositer?

Rahu is a disruptive power that tries to break norms wherever it sits or aspects planets.

In most of the placements, Rahu dominates the house in which it is placed.

There are two exceptions to this domination-

• When Rahu is placed in Scorpio
• When Rahu is placed in Jupiter’s house (especially Pisces)

Now coming to question,

What happens when Rahu aspects the dispositer either Rahu aspects the planet whose house it is sitting in

Based on this, the following observations can be made

1. Rahu Aspect tends to inflate the attributes of the planet that it is aspecting. Example: If Sun is aspected by Rahu while sitting in Leo – it will increase the Ego of the person and lead to frequent clashes with seniors/superiors
2. If Rahu is sitting in Dusthana (Houses 6, 8, 12) – it will aid growth linked to professional pursuits and strengthen the dispositer gain mental and emotional strength. This will happen over time and experience

As stated earlier, if the dispositer is Jupiter and Rahu is sitting in Jupiter’s House – Rahu and Jupiter will mutual aspect each other and mostly try to bring the best qualities out in the world.

Having said that, the Mahadasha will be extremely crucial for an individual as the observations shared above can be amplified (like in Rahu Mahadasha) or subdued (like in Jupiter or Mercury Mahadasha).
