Ketu is simplistically justified as
- Shadow Planet of detachment
- Linked to Past life karma
In the 4th House placement, many astrologers may say that it signifies detachment from mother and lack of happiness, and physical assets(like land and car).
Despite this, Ketu does bring positives in the sense that it allows the person to deal with a situation or circumstances using their past life experience.
Let us look at the 4th House placement of Ketu in another way
- Ketu gives the individual the inbuilt foresight about how to achieve their happiness and they do not let their peace of mind get swayed
- At their home front, things go smoothly owing to which they will focus on outside things (where Rahu is sitting)
- With this placement, an individual who will grow rapidly in the career can be seen especially during Rahu Mahadasha, Transit, or Antardasha
With this information, you are in a better position to say if Ketu is good, bad, or ugly in the 4th House
Hope this helps
