Is Life Fair?

This question must have crossed the mind of any individual especially when they have a challenging day or are passing through a turbulent phase in life.

Let us not trivialize the topic or the question and see it as it is

Fairness is a subjective topic and it would be foolhardy to arrive at any kind of outcome for life on a whole based on just 2-3 instances.

Having said that, the assessment an individual may make to answer this question is based on his/her upbringing and past-experiences.

Factors like social, economic, and environmental conditions further contribute to cementing the idea of perceived fairness or unfairness of life.

Despite all this, it is important to note that fairness is a complex and multifaceted concept, and there may not be an universal answer to whether life is fair or not. It is better to focus on the life’s journey to date and doing one’s Karma.

Karma may seem foreign or may sound like a religious term but the concept of karma is simple

• Do your duties/responsibilities without getting attached to the outcome
• What you sow – so shall you reap

So, focus on doing your ‘KARMA‘ and letting go of things which are beyond your control. This will ensure that your life’s trajectory is not decided by temporary fluctuations.
