The BSE Sensex in the past year has returned ~0.5% returns and this is after reaching values between 60k–62k in October-November 2021.
From this point, the benchmark has slipped more than ~7k points to reach at a level where it is now.
Now coming to the question,
What are the chances of Sensex crossing 63,000 again by the end of 2022?
On this front, I would be personally cautiously realistic and say that the chances of the benchmark regaining the value or breaching the 60k mark looks slim.
The reasons for the same are listed in the previously written article.
What is the stock market outlook for the second half of 2022?
Despite the mentioned factors, if the Stock Market rallies then it will not be sustainable as the challenges posed are not transients but pretty fundamental in nature.
In the light of this, I would personally stick to quality over speculation and use the dips to accumulate as the bear market is going to bring dividends for mid to long-term investors.
Hope this helps
